My pc occasionally makes this sound like it's booting up again is that bad?

I noticed that every now and then I hear the pc sort of like it turned off and on so quickly and it makes that sound as if I just pressed the power button. although nothing is affected by this so far, the pc is working fine. does this mean anything tho? anyone with the same thing?

You mean the fans stop and then suddenly power back on? Sounds like something might be wrong with your motherboard, unless you have any fan controllers between the mobo and the fans.

Reset your bios to it's optimal default values.Sounds like it resets the bios.When changing stuff in the bios and saving does it make that sound too.If you overclocked could it be that.Also check the battery value/voltage in the bios,needs to be about 3.3V.

You can open hwinfo32,after that open the sensor window by marking sensors=V,after that click run.

I haven't overclocked anything really, and all I did to the bios was update it the first time I turned on the pc, but that's about it, I am gonna check the battery value/voltage and report back.

I reset everything in my bios to the optimized settings, and btw, the fans don't stop and turn back on at all, it's just the sound, sounds like it's resetting or booting up and it's like a second, and I can't record it, but it doesn't impact on anything, but I am still worried, I don't have a fan controller, although I do have a 4-pwm fan splitter, but it's powered by a molex. also could it be that my 230mm fan that I have a 7v molex for be doing this, because I plugged in that 7v molex to the same molex cable that connected to the other 4-pwm fan splitter. and I heard that if you have a 7v molex for a fan to make it quiet, make sure it's plugged it seperately to its own molex cable?
