[SOLVED] My PC randomly full shuts down while playing games

I had a PSU from a while back from and old system from three years ago. I then got a new system and put the old PSU in it. I finally got the right adapters for my motherboard yesterday and i finally booted up the new PC. Everything was fine then I tried to play games. They would work for a bit then the pc would full shut down immediately.

16 gigs DDR4 3200
RX 570
1tb HDD
ASrock B450M

What exact psu? The fact you needed adapters strongly suggests it’s inadequate.

If you had to get adapters for the PSU to work with the motherboard then you need a proper power supply.

Think we all noticed that (i just didn't mention it) so what budget would you have for another psu?

$50 It has to be at least 500 watts

The only adapters i needed was Molex to 4 pin (4pin on PSU wasnt long enough) and Molex to 8 pin (didnt have an 8 pin)

Jonny are you over reacting some it has a whooping 22A on the 12 volt rail. 266 watt PSU if it can even pull that.

Don't think you will find something decent quality under $50. At least not at this moment in time.
