[SOLVED] my PC rapidly degrades any headphones i plug into it

CPU: i7 8700K
Motherboard: Asus Prime Z390-A
Ram: 8GBx4 3200mhz
GPU: ROG Strix RTX 2080
PSU: Rosewill HIVE 1000S
Case: darkFlash Phantom Black ATX Mid-Tower
OS: Windows 10 Pro

I've ordered 4 different headphones now and a new motherboard. When I plug in the headphones to my PC, they will begin developing a static/pop kinda sound when listening to music. It'll be fine for the first hour of use, then over the course of a day or two it will worsen to the point that the pops are so loud and abundant its headache inducing. I've tried every software related fix you could imagine, nothing will work. I got the new motherboard (along with new headphones) and even that didn't fix it. What component in my pc could cause this to happen??

Does that happens on both the PC case audio and rear motherboard audio jacks?

Did you make sure that the case standoffs matched the holes on the motherboard?
That way the motherboard is properly grounded.

Disconnect the front audio cable from the motherboard and test the rear audio.
