I built this PC is march and it seems I have had a few issues with it. It restarts randomly when playing certain games, has done it with Gwent and D3 these arent intense games. I recently had to RMA a 1080 TI also
OS:Windows 10 Home 64 bit
Mobo: MSI x99 Gaming Pro Carbon
CPU:Intel I7 6850k
RAM: 32gb GSkill Trident Z RGB DD4 2400mhz no OC
GPU: EVGA 1080 TI FTW3
HD: Intel 600p 1 TB
PSU: Corsair RM1000i

Any help would be great not sure if there is conflicting drivers from swapping GPU's a few times while my 1080 was being RMA I used a 970.

Drivers could be conflicting, and if you didn't do a clean install of 1080 drivers, then that's conflict for sure, but it may not be causing the crashes.

Make sure you uninstall the graphics drivers completely and use the windows vga drivers, then reinstall 1080 and see if that fixes your problem.

So uninstall them in the Device manager and should I use Geforce Experience or find a specific driver related to my card? or use the guru3d method?

Device manager should work, but GeForce should do the trick. Clean installs are always the best, because you never know, even though it should work most of the time without a clean install.

Try the GeForce method, if that doesn't work, device manager will work for sure. Just be sure to back up important files as sometimes driver uninstalls have unintended results.

Monitor your temperatures, most likely now you are either overheating, or a sensor is malfunctioning.

If it's not that, maybe your PSU is faulty and not delivering enough power.

If none of those work, make sure that your BIOS has default settings, maybe a ratio was changed and you didn't even notice.

Still having issues, It only restarts 3-5 minutes into a game after I turn it on or have had it sleeping. After the initial restart it runs fine but it does it every time. A lot of people say PSU. I bought the Corsair RM1000 special edition white for $200. Any Thoughts?

It doesn't matter that it's a good PSU, what matters is that it's performing. Gold Rated PSU can fail, it's not like they are perfect. Maybe it's not performing what it should be. Also you say you bought RM1000?? Original post says RX1000. Did you just buy another one, or are you mixing up the models?
