My pc restarts randomly

Hi about 8 months ago I built a pc it worked absolutely fine, but now I have started realising that it restarts at least 2 a day randomly no matter what I am doing, I might be playing a game or on word.
Can some one pleas help me.

It might be a power supply issue. If under warranty, try RMA-ing it.

Restarts can be one of the hardest issues to track down. The PSU is always the prime suspect. Can you list the specs of your system? Especially PSU make/model.

Hi my specs are:
Asus maximus vi extreme motherboard



2 Asus get 770

Corsair ax 1200 psu

Corsair dominator platinum 32gb ram

Corsair h110 cpu cooler

I7 4770k cpu

If it did it only when gaming in an intense game, I might suspect the PSU is failing. Especially with dual GTX 770s. But if it does it even in MS Word, there may be other causes. Like the MB. First thing to check is that the 24 pin and 8 pin PSU cables are firmly in their headers. Make sure the finger clip is over the locking tab so they don't back out during warm up/cool down times.
Next, you might try removing one of the gfx cards and try it like that for awhile. If it still does it, switch cards. That will eliminate the card(s) being the problem.
