my pc restarts when i am playing games

My pc specs are
-Gtx 970 msi twin frozr 4G
-i5 4460
-12gb of ddr 3 ram
-600w corsair cx600m
-windows 8.1
-1TB hdd

These are the solutions I can think of right now:

1. The game's files are faulty, this may cause crash or PC restart. Try reinstalling the game or get another proper copy of the game.

2. Lower the Graphics settings of your game to see if it works.

3. Try windows update and also reinstalling essential gaming software like Visual C++, DirectX, OpenGL, Dot Net.

4. Graphic's drivers may be faulty. Try getting the latest version of your GPU driver or if you already have it, try reinstalling.
