My pc shuts down playing games.

Im new in here, but I often look in the forum.

My problem is that I bought a new computer and when i play games like BF1 and
fallout and all other games my pc crashes ..
When i start it again in tells me that "Asus anti-surge was triggered to protect the system"

I read in several post to turn it off, but when i did that it dosent help, and my PC still crashes after 10-20 minutes.

In BF1 i have tried two turn the grapics down to low / medium. and it still does shut down..

My PC is 5 month old and the specs are:

Motherboard: Asus b150m-a
CPU: i5 - 6600k (with watercooling)
RAM: 16GB DDR4RAM
GPU: Asus GTX970-4GB - Strix
Harddisk: 240 gb SSD
PSU: Cooler Master B600 ver.2 (600w)
Opreration system: Windows 10


My computer isnt clocked.

At first in thougt it was my GPU but after reading in here maybe it is the PSU.

My temps on my GPU is max 50 degress and 40-45 on my cpu when playing i high grapics.

Hope someone can help me locate my problem.

Cheap power supply low quality can't deliver stable power.

All the symptoms of a psu problem and its a low quality unit. Can't be 100% but my money is on psu

get seasonic/xfx (not the XT series)/evga b2-g2-gs-gq/corsair rmx/hx/cxm/ax etc

Why cant i clock it?


Yes it was what i thougt.

Im thinking about to get a EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2. its only 6$ more expensive than the EVGA 650 watts.
So if im gonna upgrade in the future i can do that.

Your motherboard does not support overclocking, you needed a Z170 board. Any 500w or greater tier 1 or 2 PSU on this list would be a huge upgrade. http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

I got a another pc from the pc store after lots of complaints.

I got another cooler master (better model)

cooler master g650m. So far i dont have any problems i BF1 and other games.

In the future i will look for at good PSU in the first place when i buy a new computer.
