My PC shuts off when starting Windows.

So I built my first PC yesterday. When I fired it up the windows logo shows up, loading Circe starts moving and then the PC shuts completely off. I tested the psu also. And I can stay in bios for unlimited time. Cpu temps in bios stay under 35°.
Can someone tell me what's wrong?
I myself thing that it is the hard drive, because when I try to install fresh windows from a DVD drive then it works till it has to like boot of the HDD.

I did not modify anything in bios. The HDD is from a previous PC indeed.

But if I put the HDD on my previous rig the I can install Windows. I think it is not the HDD.

Did you delete all partitions from HDD, reformat it before installing fresh Windows?

You previous BIOS was configured one way (IDE, etc) and your new BIOS is configured other way (AHCI, etc), so you need a clean hdd and fresh installation

How do I clean my HDD?

I cleaned the HDD but it does the same thing.

When I unplug the HDD it goes to the install screen. But when I plug the HDD on again it won't work.

I found it! The problem is the psu. If I plug only the stat power, not the data to the HDD, then it won't work also.
