I've had my pc for almost a year now and all of a sudden it started to slow down. Everything was fine til the past couple of months. I record and play games which I used to be able to do with ease but now its hard to without making my games look bad while keeping a solid 60fps recording rate. CS:GO is a game that works perfectly fine if I play at 720p with low quality graphics, but any other game is almost impossible to do. I dont know if the cause of it is my Antivirus or not. I am running McAfee AntiVirus Plus right now.

Here are my specs
Windows 10 version 10.0.15063

System type: x64

Processor: AMD FX(tm)-8320 Eight-Core Processor, 3500 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)

Platform Role Desktop

Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 16.0 GB
Total Physical Memory 14.9 GB
Available Physical Memory 8.66 GB
Total Virtual Memory 21.4 GB
Available Virtual Memory 12.2 GB

Graphics Card: AMD Radeon R7 250 Series

2 Terabyte HDD (971 GB Free of 1.81 TB)

Hard Drive Type: SATA

Processor Speed: 3.5 gigahertz

Processor Model: AMD FX-Series

Hard Drive RPM: 7200 revolutions per minute

I dont know much about computers and please correct me if this is a bad idea but I was considering to upgrading my RAM to 32gb, Upgrading my graphics card, upgrading my processor to intel, and getting an ssd to go along with my hdd. (please tell me if bad idea).

In summary, I want to run, and record games with at least 60fps at 1080p with at least medium graphics

Thanks :)

Well, you can`t simply buy intel all of a sudden because your motherboard can`t support it.
You must buy both mobo and cpu.
You can transfer other things tho.
You should check your Task Manager for any programs that are using up your CPU. Your RAM is fine, no need to upgrade it, but you should look into getting a new graphics card. Pretty sure your current one is not that great of a graphics card to play higher quality games.

Ok I'll look into it. Any recommendations for any that are good but wont break the bank
