My PC starts on its own. How can I find out the cause so I can fix it?

Hello everyone

So I suffered from this issue on Windows 8 too. Basically I put my PC on hibernation all the time rarely shut it down. But the PC for no apparent reason just turns on. I disabled the ability of powering the PC on for keyboard, mouse, and LAN card and it made the issue less likely to happen but it didn't go away completely. Im not %100 sure if this issue occurres only on hibernation, but I think it occurred on full shut down too.

Isn't there like a log in Windows where I can find out what started the PC so I can disable it or deal with it?

Thanks in advance

PS. I replaced the PSU recently and nothing has changed

Solution
advanced power settings -> Sleep -> Allow wake timers <-- disable this
and
Go to Device Manager and double click on: Keyboards > HID Keyboard Device
In the power management tab uncheck "allow this device to wake computer"

The most common problem:
according to my experience, a very small movement from your mouse woke your PC.

have you got the latest bios for your motherboard? It could be a power setting in the bios doesn't match windows, resetting it to defaults might fix this. If it happened on 8 as well, it doesn't sound like its a windows problem and more the bios.
