So in 2 games now I had the same problem, bf3 and now tomb raider 2012.I know it's not the PUS because I have an r9 380 PUS of 550W and 750W both of them the same problem. Does any one knows why?

Solution
if it not a power issue then your hitting a heat issue where the cpu or gpu temp gets so hot that built in saftys shut your pc down before they melt. use hardware info 64 set it tot sensor and logging to watch your cpu and gpu temps.
use msi afterburner with the case open use the fan speed button see if the gpu fan will max out. also remove amd drivers reboot and install the newest ones the driver you have now may not be spining fans up to keep the gpu cold.
