My pc sucks at gaming!!

I have 3 gb ram ,amd sempron 145 processor and 512 mb graphics card but whenever i ran gta san andreas or games that need less ram hangs a lot on my pc.My pc is 7-8 years old tell me something guys what to do??

That PC is very weak and will struggle. Are you able to upgrade?

Computer may be old but from a quick glance he should be able to play this.

Get a can of compress air and clean out your computer of all the dust. Before than though you may want to get a program to read the CPU/GPU temps and stress test both and keep an eye on the temps to see if it's overheating. Also go into MSCONFIG and see what is booting up at startup you may have some resource hungry programs gobbling up a lot of resources, if so stop them from booting (but make sure you know what your doing).
