Last day I brought new graphics card AMD R7 240 and I installed it on my HP pc dx2480 and at first there was no problem I installed the drivers on the box and started to play games after 10-15min the computer monitor turned off the CPU was still running. I restarted the system again started to play games and the monitor again turned off but this time it did only last for like 5-7 min and I restarted the system again it turned on and the windows loading screen came monitor suddenly turned off while the CPU was still running. The monitor turned off I mean it went to sleep mode without any warning. Can you help me with this ???

Solution
OEM computers like Dell, Acer and so on match power supplies specifically for the hardware, or components, inside the computer. Any time you get a higher performing CPU and especially a GPU or video card you should replace the power supply as well. Do not purchase the least expensive unit as those are used by OEMs or they may not even meet OEM requirements, in other words trash and a waste of money.

Also, while purchasing a PSU, purchase a can of compressed air to clean everything inside the computer case at least twice a year, more often if on the floor or if you live near areas where dirt and dust is often in the air. Cleaning includes fans, heatsinks and power supply. You can get a can of compressed air from Wal-Mart or many...

Filth build up will cause heat and heat shortens the life of computer components.
