My pc turns on but black screen on monitor

Gpu:gtx 1050
CPU:i5 2400
8gb ram
500gb wdd hdd
1tb wdd hdd
300w Psu

My pc will turn on my cpu fan spinning and the monitor will have a blue light like it’s on but it just shows a black screen it doesn’t show a no signal screen and I just put in the motherboard so it’s not that idk what to do

Because you install the non-OEM gpu into the OEM PC, Lenovo thinkcentre, you need to disabling secure boot, then enable the legacy mode. If you can't find that feature ( secure boot or legacy mode) etc. You are out of luck. Forget the GPU update, but may try AMD GPU.

But it was working with my other Lenovo motherboard and When my pc stopped working I bought a new motherboard but it didn’t fix the problem

My old motherboard was Lenovo m71e I got it used from some dude like 6 months back everything was fine until last week

So the problem maybe from the RAM or motherboard.

Try to open the case, remove the RAM, clear the CMOS by removing the CMOS battery. After that boot the PC without the RAM, if the MB and other parts are fine, the PC should boot, but you will get no RAM beep code. If the PC will do the same, black screen, you will need to do more tests, because the MB maybe gone forever again.

I got the no ram beep code and reset the cmos but still no display I think it is probably the psu or hardrive because sometimes it says no operating system found and I have to switch the cables and it goes away but still a black screen and I remember touching the hdd while the pc was on and I got 2 beeps and the pc shut off

It says error 1962 no operating system found press any key to repeat boot sequence and now my cpu fan is at like max speed

Then try other HDD, if you have one, also connect that HDD into other PC, if you have other PC. Then run the WD software: Data Lifeguard Diagnostic to test the HDD https://support.wdc.com/downloads.aspx?p=3&lang=en

I don’t have another pc but I’ll just buy another hdd and a Cheap Windows 10 install disk and hope it works

I’ll just buy another hdd and a cheap windows 10 install disk and hope it works
