When I go to turn on my PC, LEDs, Fans, ect. Start working but everything shuts off after a second. After about 5 more seconds it attempts to reboot again, but runs through the same process of turning on for a second and shutting off. Could this possibly be due to the PSU?

My specs are:
Motherboard- Asus p8z77-v LE
CPU- Intel i5-3570K LGA1155
GPU-Nvidia GTX 970
PSU- Corsair RM-750 80Gold
RAM- 2x 8gb corsair vengeance

I attempted multiple things like, leaving everything plugged expect the CPU, and it still did it. I fear that something in the motherboard has a shortage in it, just can't tell where. When the PC turns on for the second hear multiple clicking sounds in the PSU until it shuts off. I did however see the green light on, on the motherboard indicating that power is reaching it. I just have no idea if it's the motherboard or power supply.

Hope I gave enough info! Thanks

Is this a new build? It sounds like the Asus board is running its DMEM OK test - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9azllBzU5PU

Read this http://superuser.com/questions/618064/how-do-i-interpret-the-asus-motherboard-led-and-beep-patterns

Make sure you install a Mobo speaker on the front panel pin outs so you can hear error messages from the mobo. - its a 5c part available for $2-$5 in most countries - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/like/171533172193?limghlpsr=true&hlpv=2&ops=true&viphx=1&hlpht=true&lpid=107&chn=ps and yet they rarely come packaged with any Mobo except the top end ones, and barely anyone purchases them with a system build but it's really the only way for most Mobo's to report a specific error.

Also, Google this "Asus p8z77-v LE with Corsair Vengeance" - lots of people with the same problem - you should check Mem compatibility with your Mobo before purchasing - most manufacturers have a comprehensive list of what works and what doesn't.

Suggest downloading the latest BIOS for the board, putting it on a USB stick and flash the BIOS using the instructions in the Manual for the board.

The PC is 2 months old. Everything has been running great up until today when I attempted to turn it on. I also have the speaker installed. But I hear no sounds coming from it.

I am, it's just strange because I was just on it last night and it worked perfectly. I always shutdown my PC before I go to bed and usually turn it on when I wake up. But this morning is when the problems occurred. I'm ordering a replacement tomorrow and will wait, once it comes in ill install the new one and see if that solves it
