my pc vs ps4

Hi I just brought a new pc instead of a ps4, I am wondering do I need to buy a dedicaded gpu as when i got this i released it was intergrated, can i install a AMD R9 Gpu.

Memory Size - 1024 MB

Memory Type - DDR3
Core Clock - 720 MHz
Windows Version - Windows 10
System Memory - 16 GB
CPU Type - AMD A8-7650K Radeon R7, 10 Compute Cores 4C+6G

I would like to know if this is good or do I need to add a GPU.

Should be possible, depending on power supply, PCI-E slot availability, and case type/size. If you want to game, I recommend getting a GPU.

Well without a gpu I would think a ps4 would perform better in games on average, but that is hard to compare. But yeah like said above we need some more info before we can tell you if you can add a gpu. What motherboard and power supply do you have?

16 GB RAM + AMD A8-7650K is the best solution for gaming without a discrete gpu.
This is good enough for many games.
Even ok for some tough AAA 2015 games out there (Low settings/HD res though).

What you have now is probably worse than a ps4 to be honest. People forget that you have to consider ps4 hardware PLUS all the optimisation console games usually get and things like dynamic resolution etc. For eg, GTA V on the ps4 looks and plays about the same as t does on my PC around high settings...with frame drops on both at times.

However, add a gpu like a 960/70 and you will benefit over the console. Your cpu will begin to hold you back with a 970 though
