My PC with G4560 runs terraria at 25FPS max settings

So i pirated Terraria to see if there is any problem before i buy it AGAIN on PC (I have a PS4 version of Terraria but i sold my PS4 3 weeks ago to get a new PC) and there was a big problem terraria only runs at 25 FPS max settings and when i move or jump the FPS goes to 0 Terraria is not a hard game to run i should be able to run it at the highest settings with my PC

I have Minecraft and i can run it at 75 FPS lowest and 100 FPS highest so i should be able to run Terraria because Terraria is a 2D games that requires less power than Minecraft i will you my system specs below and i dont have a GPU yet and my PC is new

Intel Pentium G4560 3.50GHz
Asrock H110M HDV
Corsair 2x4GB 2666 DDR4
320GB HDD

Can you please help me? I dont want to buy Terraria and find out that i cant run it

have you tried running it in all the system default settings? no over clocking or anything?

if minecraft runs fine, then it could be a setting in the other game that is making the FPS low like anti aliasing

Now it runs at 30FPS in slow motion

If i resize terraria it will become 60FPS but i want to play at fullscreen

also remember you have on board video, witch i dont believe is fit for gaming ,

if you bought a new GPU card and stuck it in you PCIE slot, you'd have much better results

I know im saving for a GPU but it will take some time and i want to waste that time fast with some games

I didn't say put it on lowest settings.

You need to change the frameskip setting. When frameskip is off and your CPU is too slow, the game runs in slow motion.

You need to change the frameskip setting. When frameskip is off and your CPU is too slow, the game runs in slow motion.

i did it fixed the slow motion but im still lagging and i have to play at retro because if i put the lighting at white or color the FPS will drop to 25 which is unplayable

you might exhaust the computer's RAM also with on board graphics, all this is coming from your CPU and thats not really made for rendering graphics...
I'd recommend getting a dedicated GPU to fix this problem
