My pc used to be an old previous office pc and when I tried to game on it, it was terrible. So I got a new gpu, a couple months later I had reached 100% on my cpu so I got a new cpu and motherboard and now with an almost new pc makeover, it won’t turn on. The LED on the motherboard turns on then off almost immediately and that is in the case and not in the case and now I’m desperate for answers

Specs:
Ryzen 5 2600x
B450 AORUS M
Gigabyte gtx 1060 3gb
2x8gb ddr4 ram (Ballistix)
EVGA 600w psu

edit: I have made sure my psu cables are in securely

There are a few steps you can try:
1 - Reseat the RAM in different slots and if you have any spare ram, try using those. If the spare RAM still doesn’t work, your motherboard is a goner

2 - Format the hard drive with Windows on it. Your previous installation will not boot up on a new motherboard

3 - Check your PSU

Even if I have just the 24 pin psu cable the LED on the motherboard still just flashes and doesn’t show any sign of life. I took out the motherboard, psu, gpu, and cpu out of the case and it still has the same results
