Hi guys,
Yesterday I was reapplying thermal paste to my 3570k and I'm not a noob at changing the paste, so I change it, fix on top my 100i, then my pc won't boot up! The fans spin for a second then stops then restarts then stops and so on!
I've tried removing the bios battery for 2 minutes and nothing! the same problem! tried also removing ram, vga card, etc but nothing what could've gone wrong? Is it the motherboard? Please help thanks

Solution
doubt its a heat problem. more likely your psu, or you have static shocked something. try borrowing a psu from a friend and see if it works.
To check the PSU, you could use the paperclip test. Have you tried resetting the Mobo, with pressing the Clr CMOS, once worked for me, even though i tried the battery first?
