My PC Won't boot up!

Hi, I recently have been having problems with my PC for about 1 month now. It would randomly at a time when I tried to boot it up not boot up at all and would just stay with a black screen but would be running perfectly fine. It basically stays working but the monitor doesn't detect it even when plugged HDMI to the motherboard. I'm not sure what to do because this morning I was about to play Max Payne 3 but it ended up never booting up. I'm not sure how to fix this so I can't be as active as I used to be, I really need to fix this as soon as possible so I can get back to gaming with my friends. try a test power supply first or pull the gpu and see if the mb onboard video still works. can be video card or power issue.

I already took out my GPU, I haven't tested out the PSU which I actually think it might be. Motherboard seemed to turn on but I don't have any graphics on it so it didn't even show anything like before.I'm about to go to the shop today.

Looks like it was the motherboard. I only know how to put in CPU, Graphics Card, Drives, Cd's, and RAM. So I bought a new motherboard and am having someone install it for me. If anyone needed help knowing why it won't boot up then it's either RAM, Power Supply, or Motherboard. Thank you for all your help.
