My pc wont display an image

Hi,
Just bought some pc components and when i put it together there was no image. So i checked all connections and all was good. I then tested the ram and graphics card in another system and they worked fine. After that i tested my other computers power supply in my new computer and still nothing. So the fault must be either the motherboard or the CPU right???. Is there anyway of finding out which one it is so i don't have to pay testing fees for both.

From the link the MB looks like the rev3.0, and it need the F7 version BIOS at least to support the Athlon X4 860K. You can email gigabyte with your MB series number to confirm what BIOS is on the BIOS chip. Otherwise you need other cpu to update the BIOS or return it and get the rev3.2 one then you will be fine. CPU support lists

thanks will do, so i could buy the cheapest cpu that it supports like the Athlon X2 340 and then i could put the other one back in
