My pc won't display

I just built a new computer today, and can't get it to display to the monitor. The monitor is working, as well as the VGA and HDMI cables


I've read reviews for my motherboard and am finding out many people have had DOA motherboards.

I'm wondering what I can do to narrow down the issue.

My build:
MSI Z170a m5 gaming motherboard
Intel i5 6600k
Cooler master Hyper 212 Evo
G Skill Ripjaw 2x8gb ddr4 3600 ram
Samsung 850 Evo 120gb ssd
Seagate 1000rpm 1tb hard drive
EVGA supernova 650 GS PSU
NZXT S340

Try leaving single RAM module installed and testing each slot. If still no go, a case speaker would help.
