My PC crashed with BSOD yesterday because of overheating, but now it won't play any sound at all. No sound on speaker, no sound on earphones, nowhere. I tried a few basic things like troubleshooting, driver update/reinstall but still nothing. Any ideas?

Solution
event 41 is just recording the fact PC restarted unexpectedly
in the detailed view of the event 41, does it show a Bucheck code? it might just be 100, which also just records restart was unexpected

so you tried these steps?

wonder if problem is the actual hardware, I would try running off this and see if you can get sound - https://ubuntu.com/tutorials/create-a-usb-stick-on-windows#1-overview (just run off USB, don't install linux)

what are specs of the PC?

do you remember what BSOD code it was?

do the audio devices show any errors next to them in Device manager?

my pc cpecs:Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 955 Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.2GHz,8 GB RAM,NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 grafics kard

i dont exatly remember that but the event log said its event 41 Kernel power

Everything working in device manager.

one thing i notice beside the no sound,is when i open the volume mixer it wont got that green signal when something is playing music or etc
