I just built my first PC ( https://pcpartpicker.com/list/F8Ng7T ) and it was all going smoothly. I tested the system before putting it in the case, managed my cables, and booted it up. At first, I was getting this screen ( View: https://imgur.com/a/5pHPm
) and had no ability to access my bios by pressing f2 or del while booting. After swapping my m.2 to a mother port it stopped posting. I swapped it back and it posted only to tell me that the m.2 didn't work in that slot. I tried booting with only a hard drive connected, and checked that all my cables were properly connected. After trying the original m.2 slot that would "post" it now doesn't even post. I know all my parts work, I've had them tested, so I'm not sure what else to do.

Solution
It is not clear from your post but i am guessing you have Windows installed on one of the 850 EVO drives. If that is the case, try plugging the boot drive into a different SATA port. Installing your NVMe SSD into an M.2 socket disables SATA ports.

*1. The M.2_1 socket shares SATA_1 port when use M.2 SATA mode device.
*2. The M.2_2 socket shares SATA_56 ports when use M.2 PCIE mode device in X4 mode.
