First of all, sorry if I’m posting in the wrong section—I didn’t know where else to post this.

The issue: After a power outage, my PC won’t turn on. I removed the CMOS battery and reinserted it—still nothing. I even bought a new CMOS battery, but that didn’t help. The PSU has been tested and works fine. After reassembling the whole PC, it did turn on, but when I turned it off, it wouldn’t start again. (By "not turning on," I mean that nothing happens: no lights, no fans running, etc.)

What could be the issue?

How was the PSU tested?

Are you using a power strip, surge suppressor or battery back up power source? Did you reset them after the outage? Did you turn off the PSU unplug it and press the Computer case power button to discharge the motherboard? Then plug in the PSU turn it on then press the start button on your case? This method has worked every time with my system after a power outage. I am using a surge suppressor. Kindly provide more info please. Thank You. It might be an issue with your PSU as DaleH has asked how did you test your PSU ?

Have you checked the switch is functioning?

You're getting nothing you say. Suggests power is not reaching your motherboard; Switch or even a fuse issue maybe.

Do you have any LED's on your motherboard, to indicate power is present?

Assuming you have no power output from your PC (you say you tested your PSU - (how as DaleH asked), maybe it's not being triggered via the switch.
