Hi i have a dell optiplex 7010sff i3
i put a rx 550 in the system i think in december but i see the system severely underperfoming in the only game i play (league of legends)
System specs
cpu i3 3240
gpu rx 550
psu stock dell 240w (says shall not exeed 90w)
my pc is severely underperfoming i think because of the cheap and (watch the language - mod edit) psu
i had a look inside the system i think it uses standard 24pin mobo connector and standard 4 pin cpu connector so i think any standard tfx psu should fit in my system without any issues. because all the upgrades plan to further do is upgrade my psu to a 300w tfx or 350w psu and upgrade from 8 to 16gb of ram i think one of these should fit right?

Solution
Having a good quality PSU is always a very good idea. It is more than just not "having problems". A high quality power supply can help to protect the rest of your hardware from premature failure that can and does occur when using very low quality power supplies that have high levels of ripple and electrical noise. Ripple can overheat and destroy the capacitors on motherboards and graphics cards, and there are of course other potential problems that can happen from low quality units to damage or destroy your other hardware as well not least of which are simply catching on fire.
God no, don't waste your money on that PSU. I'm certain there are not going to be any reviews of either of those units available and equally sure that they're both completely unreliable and low quality.

I'd highly recommend you consider something like this instead, assuming that you are SURE that a TFX form factor unit will fit your SFF case, which I'm not, because I haven't verified it yet.

Although, technically it is recommended that you run a minimum of a 350w TFX unit with that graphics card, and I don't see anything above 300w available for this form factor, for your region, on PCPP. Perhaps through other channels.

or should i just save more money for a better known brand psu
i think either this
https://www.1a.lv/p/be-quiet-atx-2-4-tfx-power-2-bronze-300w-bn228/p35
or this
https://www.1a.lv/p/silverstone-psu-tfx-flex-atx-80-plus-bronze-tx300-300w/3bdb

The Be Quiet unit is likely the better choice. There are actual reviews of that and they look promising. The Silverstone model seems to have no reviews so while they do have some good units, they also have some piss poor ones as well. I'd opt for the TFX Power 2 unit myself if those were my choices. There is a Seasonic 350w TFX unit out there that is very good if you can afford it and if you can GET one.

Yea its just that pc parts in my country cost way too much comapred to america and other european countries and shipping is like 30 euros from the places where the parts are cheaper.

A Seasonic Focus Plus power supply costs like 300 US dollars in South America. Now, I'm not IN South America, but I help a lot of members from all over the world, so people I help in Africa or Argentina, have just about the same problems with the availability and price of hardware as what you have in Latvia.

or i should just buy a diffrent pc with better parts since ill be working in the summer part time and use the gpu from the dell for extra muscle since i think league of legends is a more cpu intensive game. So the rx 550 will help the cpu do you think this is a viable option?

Because i would be happy if the fps would drop below like 190 on low settings. Because its the only game i kinda enjoy playing.

See, THAT part, I can't answer. I can't tell you what you SHOULD do, I can only offer advice as to what are good options and what are bad options, or what "I" would do. But what I would do has very little relevance to what you should do because we are not in the same financial situations nor do we live in the same regions. You will have to answer that question for yourself, but I will say this.

It would be HIGHLY advisable to NOT buy another prebuilt system, so you don't end up right back in the same situation you are in now.

See i was thinking a laptop with a like 8th gen i5 and gtx 1050 because now portability is a factor to me.

Portability is great, but getting a laptop with the INTENTION of GAMING, is a bad idea. Even the majority of models marketed as supposedly "gaming" laptops, don't last long due to the problem of putting a powerful enough CPU and GPU under the hood AND getting the heat out sufficiently. If you plan for this to be a gaming machine, even what most people consider "light" gaming, it's a bad idea.

It never turns out well when somebody goes from a desktop to a laptop, for "gaming".

The exception is, sometimes, the VERY high end models that are made by companies like Sager. Those are over-engineered to be a little bit safer, but I still them have long term heat issues with graphics cards installed that are big enough to be worthwhile for gaming.

If gaming isn't your priority, then it might make a lot of sense.

Yea the only game i play is league of legends and its far from beeing demanding. As far as i know.

You are right, it is not highly demanding. The problem for laptops is continuous demand, that continuously weakens the cooling systems ability to maintain the delicate balance most of them are just barely capable of. If you go this route you want to get a laptop that is much more capable than what you actually need because over a period of weeks or months it's going to lose some of it's ability to cool. They always do.

so i should just upgrade my psu if i want more performance because id be happy if the fps wouldnt drop below 190 after the pus upgrade then id be happy.

Even if i do buy the laptop i think if it starts to overheat ill buy and external cooler for it they are widespread on the online market.

I also came up with this idea what if i build a new desktop (new case, cpu, cooler, psu, mobo). and use the same gpu and ssd from my current build.

The pc link does average 690fps on the setting i play the system i think of building does 350fps average but its more than enough if i go the second route it also leaves enough budget for a better monitor.

That PSU is absolute garbage. Did you just click on the cheapest thing on the store's website?

230V only, double forward, group regulated, sleeve bearing fan.... bad, bad, bad, bad.

This one:

Full range, LLC resonant, DC to DC, rifle bearing fan.
