My PCI-E 2.0 Graphics Card doesn't fit in my 1.0 slot...HELP!

My friend gave me a ASUS GTX 670 that he is not using anymore. I have an old motherboard with PCI-E 1.0 slots. Is there anyway I can get this card to fit into the 1.0 slot?

Hello,

While there is no physical difference between PCI-e slot generations (the card should fit), GTX670 is a PCI-e 3.0 card, so most likely it won't work; also, you'd need a capable PSU, at least 500W (+12V/40Amps).
