hello i have a z170-ar motherboard and i cant get my m.2 in the PCIe slot to work. I have another M.2 in the regular m.2 slot but i ran out of places to put a m.2 and got an adapter. i can see my m.2 connected to the board but not the one in the PCIe adapter. Any Help

Which slot are you using? Your mobo may not be able to handle two M2. Pay attention to the notes:
*1: The PCIe x16_3 slot shares bandwidth with SATA6G_56. The PCIe x16_3 is default set at x2 mode.
*2: Supports PCIE RAID configurations via onboard M.2 and PCIex16_3.
*3: M.2 shares SATA mode with SATA Express. Change this item before installing M.2 SATA devices.
*4: These functions will work depending on the CPU installed.
