Question My PC's Internet speed is Extremely slow

I wanted to use my PS4, so I unplugged the Ethernet cable from my PC and plugged it into my PS4. I did this a few times over the last few days, but now my PC's connection via the Ethernet is extremely slow, and it sometimes cuts out randomly? I'm getting 1MB when I was once getting 18. I then changed to a different ethernet cable to see if it was the problem and now my connection is even slower. Have I damaged my PC's ethernet port?
EDIT: My Ethernet speed on the PS4 is still around 18MB, so it's definitely a problem with the PC.

You can check the port on the computer and see if any of the pins are damaged or pushed around. If you need to move a cable between the two, I would get a wireless router instead, or simply run a second cable to the systems.
