I'm building a new PC, and purchased a Peerless Assassin 120 SE heat sink to use on my Gigabyte B650M AORUS Elite AX motherboard. I removed the stock plastic bracket from the motherboard, took the red AM4/5 spacers and went to fit them over the backplate screw holes, but none of the spacers will fit over one of the screws. The spacers fit the other 3 spots, and I can put any of the spacers over any of the other 3 holes...it's just one hole that none of the spacers will quite fit over. Do I just push a little harder on the spacer and hope to squeeze it on there? Do I shave down the spacer a little? Do I return the motherboard? I was very excited to get my PC built, but I definitely don't want to break my motherboard... Advice appreciated!
