My pendrive is not recognised

can i recover data from a crushed hard drive,which
is also at the same time not detected by my system.

do you mean pen drive or hard drive? Pen drives are quite durable, depending on the craftsmanship. Hard drives are MUCH more fragile, so if it is completely crushed then its pretty much destroyed.
