My pendrive transferring speed is 2-3 mbps

I have an Acer Predator Helios Laptop with 8 GB RAM and i5 7th generation. The speed I am getting is less than 4 Mbps while copying the data. I have another laptop with Windows 7 in it and the pendrive transfers or copies data at 23-24 mbps. Please help!

Are you plugging this into a USB 2.0 or 3.0 USB port?

Have you tried getting new chipset drivers for the laptop that isnt running it at its full speed?

Also it depends on the file, I have a 64GB USB 3.0 Samsung stick and sometimes i will move a file at a slow or fast speed. It depends on the complexity of the file mostly and its size.

I have both the ports, i actually have 3 ports, 2.0, 3.0, 3.1. it was the same file. I don't understand the chipset thing, i bought this laptop in December.

Open Command Prompt and copy & paste in: wmic baseboard get product,Manufacturer,version,serialnumber
