[SOLVED] My performance on games randomly started acting up

During games likes farcry5 and bf 5 my computer will run at 80 to 90 fps but when I move my mouse. especially on a fast turn. the frames drop to 5 or 10.
its maddening as I cant figure out whats wrong and these games worked fine previously.

Ryzen 5 2600
8 gigs ram
gtx Geforce 1050ti

What has changed?
Perhaps you have contracted malware or a virus.

See if you can't use system restore to reset your pc back to when all was good.

im not sure. its seemed to start out of nowhere. and doing that would I have to redownload every from square one?

Look at control panel/system and access system protection.
If it has been enabled, there will be some restore points and you can select one that goes back in time.
