Hi!
I am trying to replace my now > 7 years old rig (except for the GPU) with an entirely new setup (only plan to keep the power supply).
I don't regularely follow the development of those components and especially prices so i hope you can help me with your feedback about compatibilty and possible overpriced components that no sane person would not replace with something else
My old build:
- Asus P8Z68-V
- GTX 970
- Intel Core i5-2500K
- Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 C9 2x4GB
My current plan for the new build:
- Asus ROG STRIX Z370-F GAMING
- GTX 1080
- Intel Core i7-8700K
- Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4 3000 C15 2x8GB
- Cooltek 600045760 Antiphon Black
- Noctua NH-D15
I did a comparison on userbenchmark.com:
http://www.userbenchmark.com/PCBuilder/Custom/S94-M46.14719.19175.89203vsS67449-M347462.137575.494791.89530?tab=CPU
And have a amazon list for the components (i am not entirely sure about all the different varients e.g. of the GTX 1080):
https://www.amazon.de/registry/wishlist/2Z343TCDJY2SH
Thanks!
Have a great day,
Tom
