[SOLVED] My power supply doesn’t support my graphic card

My graphic card has a 8 pin hook up and my supply does not I was wondering how I know what power supply I need to buy and if I buy a different one will I still be able the power my motherboard and things

can you list the model number of gpu and psu?
Most likely you need a new psu.

If your power supply has TWO of the 6-pin connectors, you can use a dual-6-pin-to-single-8-pin adapter.
