My primary monitor blanks out when playing games

After the latest driver update 418.81 my primary monitor (I have 2 1080 on each side of a 1440) has started going blank a few times per minute, but only when gaming. It happens both in WoW and No Man's Sky, haven't tried any others, so far.

I have 2 x GTX 1080 ti in SLI. Checking the stats, only 1 of the cards seems to be utilized, the other has no usage. In WoW I tried to choose which card to be used, but it didn't matter which one I chose (in-game), only the one where my monitors are connected is used.

I had some trouble updating the driver as Geforce Experience choose to install the drivers for notebooks. I have used DDU 18 twice to do a clean install of the drivers.

So I sat there wondering why GPU2 wasn't used. Checked the settings and saw that SLI wasn't even mentioned in the NVIDIA control panel. Turns out the bridge wasn't connected to one of the cards. Yeah, I know, that's too stupid. Anyway, I connected it, restarted, enabled SLI, and, it didn't solve the problem.
