My printer is not printing

I have a brother printer and all of a sudden it decided not to print anymore, the computer says its offline, cant figure out why. I went to office depot to ask them and they told me to go to Tom's hardware. So any help would be appreciated thanks

Open "Devices and Printers"
Right click on the printer icon and select "See what's printing"
In the Printer menu on top check if "Use Printer Offline" is checked
If check, unchecked it and try printing again.
