so i have a pc with amd ryzen 1600 processer, i did a benchmark test on userbenchmark.com and aparently my processer is performing below average compared to other people with the same processer. i though it might have been a cooling problem since some of the thermal paste was scaped off when i attached it to my motherboard with its fan, but the idle temp is around 40 degrees C which isnt good but isnt bad either. so im not sure whats the problem with my processer.

Are you going to believe some suspicious results from some dodgy people ? Is your cpu running at its specs ? Make sure you power management is set to performance. I think you are good bro . What is your specs just for who hos

Amd Ryzen 1600
gigabyte g1 gaming 1060 gtx 3g
8gb black hyperxfury ddr 4 ram
tawmohawk b350 motherboard msi

i played pubg and im getting around 40-50 average fps on medium-high settings 1080p, the benchmakr test might not be true but im still woried since it said my cpu is performin way below average. is the thermal paste the problem or is 40 degrees c idle temp fine

The "below average" in userbenchmark.com is a bogus number.

If all identical processors are running within 5% of each other...some will be above average, some will be below average.
But the actual "difference" is tiny and not to be worried about.

If all of those CPU's are running at between 92% and 97% of absolute factory optimal...yours running at 94% is "OMG !! Below Average!!!"

What is your under load temp ?

i stress tested my cpu and apparently the maximum temperature was 58.0 and idle was 40, is there a possibility of thermal throtelling
