Question My PSU came with an international wall plug.. can I buy a converter to use it with?

My options are: (1) to buy a converter or (2) buying a power cord with the same line rating; however, my issue is, I dont know which is the safer option

I could just buy a power cord with a wall plug that matches the one in my country; however, I dont know how reliable the aftermarket brands here are..... so there's a safety concern

I found a converter that is also a surge protector.. but I dont know how safe it is.

Also, I will be using either options on a multi-plug...

You are very correct in being concerned about safety.

And any extra "links", converters, adapters, etc. are just more things that can go wrong.

Make and model PSU? Where did you purchase the PSU?

Are you able to determine what country (countries) the current plug is intended for?

Are you able to take a couple photographs of the supplied power cord (both ends) and post the photographs?

Hopefully someone from within your country (or even elsewhere) will recognize the plugs and be able to make a safe recommendation with respect a particular product and reliable source.

The brand is Enermax. I bought it locally in Australia, so I was expecting an AU plug, but I guess these imports didnt come with AU plugs.

The plug is an American-style type...

The line rating is 10A 125V, which is so weird because I would have expected at least a 250V one, especially considering its for an 850 W PSU

f the line rating is 125v, would that mean that it is safe to use a line rating that is rated at a much higher voltage; say, a 250 V one? Like this??
