My PSU fan just died. How long can I keep it going till I kill something else?

Hello

I have a CPU FAN not working message coming at the boot sequence.
When I look at the PC, it looks and sounds as if it's the PSU unit. The fan's not moving and it kinda wants to but it's just pretty still.

I've been dragging this issue for a while but now it's making more noise and I THINK I have CPU spikes of USAGE on the task manager. (I maybe confusing things)

Currently I'm using this very computer because I don't have any other and I don't have much to do besides gaming atm.

Any good apps to check heat temps?

Anyway, help!

asus mobo
rpijaws 8 GBS
390 ATI

Thank you!

Solution
It seems odd that the two are related, considering the PSU has no signal it can send out.
I suspect the PSU might not be providing proper power, resulting in the processor fan not working properly. But thats a hunch at this point.
Fixing the PSU is the first step though.

So how do you explain whatever's happening to my computer?
it's definitely acting up.
I don't know what to do for right now. This isn't my area of expertise.
Tomorrow i'll go buy a new one but I don't think best buy or anyone around here will have anything decent. SO I might have to wait till TUESDAY , which means imma have to endure this mf.

Thanks for the help!
