Hi when upgrading my current power supply which more in depth detail can be found on this page:

The dimensions of the PSU are 5.9 x 5.5 x 3.4 inches, will i be able to upgrade to this power source:

even though its dimensions are 5.9" x 3.4" x 6.3"?

Yes, that psu will work. Your original psu is standard atx format as is the corsair you have picked.

It may make it too tight . Buy one with the same dimensions.In hp's if you put a longer ATX supply in , it tends to make it very tight.
