Long story short: When I try to unplug the PSU from my motherboard, it feels like it's going to snap said motherboard.
I pinch the catch release, and it looks clear and ready to be removed, but the plug won't actually separate from the motherboard. It's almost as if it's glued.
This is an OEM Dell XPS 8700, and while I know it's an OEM computer, I've seen people write product reviews for PSUs, stating they've put aftermarket PSUs in their Dell computers. So I assume it's possible.
Is this a common problem for PSU plugs to be difficult to remove from their motherboards? If so, what is usually the solution?
