My radiator fan is making a strange chirping noise.

This problem has just recently popped up. I became aware of it when my sister walked into the room and said "Your fan is making a weird noise." So I took my headphones off and I heard it. It sounds like a cricket that is chirping at a very rapid pace.

Sound like bearing on bearing action. I'd replace it with another.
