[SOLVED] My RAM is 4gb 2666 and 16gb 2666, but CPU-Z shows that it works on 1887 ?

Solution
Try run Hwinfo64 and see if that picks up the soldered 4gb. Just to check it's details, timings etc.

How were you checking ram speed before?

Im wondering if this is an issue mixing single and dual rank ram.

return it and buy ram match the same speed as the other one
This is the proper answer you should mark as the solution. You should never mix and match sticks of RAM you always buy matched pairs so that they work properly at the right speeds

Notebookcheck does say the laptop model comes with 2666 ram and so does Cnet but the Ryzen 2500U/2700U's max memory speed is 2400.

Lenovo spec sheet.

I think Hwinfo is correct. What did Windows report ram speed with only 4gb stick?

Anyway, not even running at least at 2400 then. My suspicion is dual rank ram. Possibly single rank might change things but you'd be looking at 8gb module. Difference in speed between 1866 and 2400 would probably be negligible not to tradeoff capacity.

One module is soldered onto motherboard.
So - not really possible to get the exact match.
then the best the OP can do is go to Crucial and have their tool scan the pc and see what is compatible. even then it's a crapshoot but it worked on my super old A6 powered notebook, I could only add one stick but it performed flawlessy at advertised speed
