My ram isn't working with dual channel and they both work fine?

Solution
Make sure you have the two sticks of RAM in the correct DIMM slots.

Most motherboards come with 4 DIMM slots. (Pictured below)

Normally in dual channel configurations, the RAM is seated in DIMM slots 1 and 3 (the dark gray DIMM slots in the picture above).

Refer to your motherboard manual for correct RAM seating.
