[SOLVED] My ram set automatically to 2133 speed

Hello I have this ram CMK8GX4M2A2666C16 https://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CM...dp/B0123ZB70Q?ref_=d6k_applink_bb_marketplace but here it says that this ram is 2666 mhz but in my motherboard bios it says that is automatically set to 2133 I have the i5-8400(sorry for my bad English)

What's your motherboard? Check motherboard spec's whether the chipset/ cpu generation is limiting you to 2133. If it's described 2666 is achievable then perhaps XMP in the bios needs to be configured.

Oh ok, it's definitely not a motherboard problem. Z370 will support 2666 and faster memory regardless of processor.

Have you tried enabling A-Xmp in the bios? It's a feature that configures the motherboard to run faster capable ram beyond the default 2133.
