To start here is my system specs
i5 7500 just overclocked with intel boost
32GB ddr4 ram rated for 3000 MHz
Radeon RX 570 8GB VRAM
B250M gaming pro
600w EVEA psu
I just can't seem to figure out how to overclock my ram beyond 2400 MHz. I've tried using XMP in the bios and it only said that it can do 2400MHz even though the actual ram kit can support 3000. according to the sticker put on by the manufacturer. I have not tried any manual timings or voltages because I've heard that there risky. the ram is G-skill and says it is intel XMP 2.0 ready. is there any manual solution or is my hardware blocking a over clock?
