my red power light is on, on my tv and it wont come on. it use to clik numerous time before it came on, but now it wont do any

Most likely, your tv is not powering on, and will need to be replaced.

Before tossing it, try a different HDMI cable, confirm the signal is ok, and that your outlet and surge strip are working ok.
