I'm reseting my laptop and it has been stuck at 45% for about 18 hours. Is this normal? Its a three year old Gateway with Windows 8. Should I turn it off or will it eventually reach 100%? I reset it because of a virus it had on it.
Keep your charger plugged in and whenever your screen monitor goes into sleep mode, it will not progress. Wait for it to complete and if the screen shuts off, press enter or mouse your mouse around so it doesn't go into sleep mode.
