Question MY RGB lights blink when my system goes to sleep?

Ok so Im having a small issue. Well technically 2 small issues. It does not happen everytime either only sometimes.

When Im watching a movie on the internet, and say Im laying in bed and the movie ends. My PC will go into sleep mode within 2 minutes of the movie ending (just black screen on monitor with a play button like when a movie typically ends on a computer). But I have the sleep time set to 30 minutes of no use.

The main issue is that sometimes when it goes into sleep mode, the rgb on my mouse mat will blink. Like it will blink on then off about every 4-5 seconds.

Also the leds inside my pc (rgb strips and fans) will blink also.

This continues for a couple hours and then the blinking stops inside the pc but not the mouse mat. The mouse mat will blink until I wake the computer up.

This does not happen everytime and I cannot figure out the issue.

  • How is my pc going to sleep after only being inactive for 2 minutes when its set to 30 minutes?
  • Why are my leds blinking while its asleep?
